Spend a day with one of the country’s leading designers either Graham Pavey or Julian Dowle in a spectacular garden. Graham has over 16 years’ experience, having trained at the English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden. He has written numerous books, the latest is entitled “Creative Gardening for Busy People”. He is a speaker for the RHS and a garden photographer. Julian has designed gardens for more than 30 years both here in the UK and abroad. An International garden consultant, show judge and lecturer, he has won numerous gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show for his show gardens.
You will be shown a flower demonstration, showing you how to create displays of varying formality, but still using readily available seasonal materials. The highly experienced flower demonstrators will pass on valuable tips and ensure that you feel confident to re-create the arrangements at home. Your afternoon will be spent practising your new found skills in a hands-on session where you can create your own arrangement to take home with you. The day will finish after lunch, which includes soft drinks and coffee.
